![]() On her 1936 death certificate, the Edelstein family lists "Ruth Baleston" as Anna Edelstein's mother. While we are still researching, Ruth seems to be the first wife of Joseph (Bialystok) Baleston, and gave birth to Anna c. 1889. By 1894 Ruth may have died, unknown, Joseph marries Anna Lask, born c. 1873. Family lore says they were close, perhaps as evidenced by their two memorial stones together. |
